ARIZONA, I love ya!

Last weekend our family headed to Arizona for my cousin Sarah's Wedding. While we were there we stayed with my aunt Randi, uncle Doug and their daughter Averi. She is so adorable...oh my goodness she was so cute!! We had such a blast while we were there, I did not want to go home. Not to mention the weather was perfect, and I love palm trees. It was a lot of fun to visit with the Porter family too. I hadn't seen a bunch of my cousins in years so it was really fun to talk to them, I just love my family. My dad took off with my uncle Kenyon a day earlier then the rest of the family...which meant DEATH for the rest of us. Oh my, let me tell you, I thought I was going to die during the car ride home. Cardon and Garrett rode in my dad's car on the way there...so on the way home we had Stockton, Cardon, Garrett, and I squished into the back seat of the Subaru with all our luggage piled around us for TWELVE HOURS! I couldn't move my body,I was car sick, and and we had chilli nachos the night before so...well...you get the picture. In the midst of our torture we did find ways to have fun. We stopped at some outlets with Doug and Randi, stopped at the Grand Canyon which was amazing, and we played games, made bracelets and sang.

There was a ginormous baby the size of a billboard on the side of the free way that was sitting in a field...so we decided to take a picture with it.

First of all, we are just weird.  We decided that it would be    fun if we jumped in their swimming pool which I'm pretty sure is below freezing, and then swim across.  We called it...
THE POLAR BEAR PLUNGE!  Holy Cow!  That water was so cold, we couldn't even swim.  Doug just walked along and paddled his way through with a look of pure torture on his face...hahaha
